SACRAMENTO — Crew members put out a hearth Thursday evening at a Victorian house in downtown Sacramento.

The Sacramento Fireplace Division stated the fireplace, which started shortly after 8:35 p.m., raged within the fifteenth and Q streets space.

A number of models have been known as to the scene to place out a hearth within the attic of their house.

Q Avenue will likely be closed between fifteenth and sixteenth Streets, and sixteenth Avenue will likely be closed at R Avenue whereas crews work to extinguish the fireplace.

The reason for the fireplace is unknown at the moment. No accidents have been reported.
